Reviews and Ratings <br />
I recently spent 10 days at this incredible resort, and it truly felt like a hidden gem. The combination of uncrowded surfing and fantastic diving made the trip unforgettable. The staff were like family, making every moment special, and the setting among the lush jungle created a serene atmosphere. While the remoteness might not suit everyone, I found it to be a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle, although I did miss a bit more variety in the dining options.
Waidroka Bay Resort is a beautiful oasis nestled in the jungle, offering fantastic diving experiences and delicious local cuisine. The staff is exceptional and creates a welcoming atmosphere, but there are areas that could use improvement, particularly regarding some room amenities and water quality. Overall, it provided a great experience that has the potential to be even better with a few tweaks.
Our stay at the resort was quite delightful with a lovely setting surrounded by lush greenery. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though a few things could use fixing. The staff truly made our trip special with their care and engagement. While the dining options were tasty, they came at a steep price, and the intermittent hot water was a minor inconvenience.
Waidroka Resort offers a beautiful setting for relaxation and adventure, especially for diving enthusiasts. The communal dining experience fosters interaction among guests, which is a highlight. However, it’s a bit remote, and some aspects still require attention after recent cyclones. While the diving experience is exceptional, the surfing opportunities may not be ideal for everyone.
My stay was a wonderful experience nestled in a beautiful location, perfect for both surfing and diving enthusiasts. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff truly felt like family, always welcoming and engaging. However, the conditions can be quite challenging depending on your surfing skill level, which might not make it ideal for beginners. The food was tasty, but I wish there were more options for dining. Overall, I had a fantastic time embracing nature and adventure.
